Yaoxian Chen (陈耀显) is a scholar and composer specializing in electronic music composition, interactive music systems, and cross-media musical structures. He holds a Ph.D. in Composition and Electronic Music from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

His work bridges contemporary composition theory with emerging technologies. His compositions, such as Lingering Charm of the Silk Road and Howling Wind, have been featured in major international festivals including the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC), New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF), and IRCAM Forum. He is dedicated to exploring how musical structure and technology shape new modes of listening.
